SER: (SPANISH) EXPRESSING IDENTITY OR ORIGIN

WIRZ

Ser Wine Company sources two varietals  - Cabernet Pfeffer and Riesling - from the Wirz Vineyard, featuring granite and lime soil. 90+ year old Cabernet Pfeffer vines and 60 year old Riesling vines, dry farmed, by owner Pat Wirz.

Enz

Enz vineyard is located in Cienega Valley on the east side of the Gabilan Mountain Range.  Soils are decomposed granite and limestone.  The Mourvedre vines are ~100 years old, head trained, dry farmed.  Cool climate for Mourvedre, the fruit typically ripens in the last week of October or early November.

Lilo

Lilo Vineyard is located at a 1000 ft elevation on a south facing steep hillside of the Santa Cruz Mountains. This 4.5 acre vineyard of Pinot Noir is grown on sandstone, schist, and shale soils. It also shares a view of the Monterey Bay and in turn a cool pacific ocean influenced climate.

Coastview

Coastview Vineyard is located at a 2300 ft. elevation in the Gabilan Mountain Range on the eastern side of the Salinas Valley.  Per its namesake, the vineyard has a view of the Monterey Bay which further influences its cool climate.  The soils are decomposed granite with veins of limestone.  It is farmed organically and with a high attention to growing quality fruit.

Lester

Lester Family Vineyard is located just above the fog line overlooking Monterey Bay on the southern end of the appellation. It is eleven acres of a combination of clones grown on colluvial loamy sands with varied mineral content rising to the surface.
